Do I need prior experience?
No. Our tours are 100% beginner-friendly. We start with a brief onshore lesson, and each participant progresses at their own pace.
Who is eligible to participate in the activity?
If you can do a couple of squats, you can paddleboard. You just need basic mobility.
Who should not participate in this experience?
For safety reasons, we do not recommend this product for people weighing more than 115 kg, pregnant women, or those with serious injuries or open wounds.
Do I need to know how to swim?
No. This is a very safe activity for those who can't swim, as the water is very calm and shallow (below the knees). The area offers ideal conditions for learning at your own pace.
Is it safe for children?
Yes, we have special equipment for young children. In addition to helping them develop motor skills (balance, coordination, proprioception, and body awareness), paddleboarding allows them to connect with nature.
Can I bring my pet?
Of course! We're pet-friendly. However, we suggest bringing your pet after your first session so you feel completely confident and in control of the board.

We are located in Progreso, Yucatán, 30 minutes from the city of Mérida. Tours depart from Marina Laguna Mar. Advance reservations are required.
What time does the tour take place?
Tours depart at sunrise. This is the time of day when weather conditions are best, there is less wind, and you have the best chance of seeing wildlife. Please arrive 30 minutes before sunrise. The exact time varies depending on the season.
Can the tour be taken at a different time?
Yes, it's possible for groups of at least 4 people, but we need to check the weather first. We recommend going at sunrise, since the current gets stronger later on and requires better physical fitness. It's worth getting up early!
How long does the activity last?
The activity lasts 2 hours (hands-on activities, a guided tour, breaks, an educational talk, and photos). However, we don’t keep strict track of time; we want you to enjoy yourself at a relaxed pace. We may run a little over time if the mangrove forest has a surprise in store for us, such as spotting some flamingos.
What should I bring?
Lightweight, comfortable clothing, a swimsuit, a towel, water, insect repellent, and biodegradable sunscreen. All equipment (board, paddle, and leash) is included.
Can I bring my cell phone or camera?
Of course, we recommend using a protective case and a float for your devices. If you don't want to risk damaging your device, don't worry: we'll take videos during the tour that you can purchase for just $150 at the end.
If I purchase videos, how long does it take for them to be shipped?
It usually takes no more than 2 days. During peak season, it could take up to a week. We appreciate your patience; we strive to deliver the highest quality.
How far in advance should I make a reservation?
Due to safety concerns and to protect the mangrove forest, we have limited availability. We recommend booking one or two weeks in advance, especially on weekends or during the holiday season.
How do I make a reservation?
You can contact us directly via WhatsApp or through our website. We require a deposit to confirm your reservation (except during the holiday season, when full payment is required).
How early should I arrive?
We recommend arriving 10 minutes before departure time to check in and receive instructions. Sunrise doesn't wait, and we'll start on time out of respect for the group.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Safety is our top priority. If conditions aren't ideal, we'll reschedule your trip for another date that works for you (subject to availability). You can also transfer your reservation to someone else.
Can I cancel the experience?
In the event of cancellation by the customer, no refund will be issued, as the fee covers administrative costs and the reservation of the board on the selected date.

The minimum rental period is 4 or 6 hours. If you want, you can purchase additional hours. Regardless of the duration, the route is practically the same.

You can return the vehicle whenever you like, but the minimum rental period is 4 hours.

Risks and Rewards (Sunset/Night): The late afternoon hours are more likely to bring rough seas. The rainy season (summer) offers the best sunsets, but when you book, you accept the risk of a sudden downpour; once it passes, the sea becomes calm and beautiful.
Nighttime Safety: If the sea is rough at night, everyone must remain seated in the area designated by the captain until the boat is inside the harbor.
Holiday Season Weekend Policy: Due to high demand, morning tours must end no later than 3 p.m., and afternoon tours must begin after 3 p.m. Please book in advance.
Can we take another tour?
Yes, we can provide quotes for customized tours between Chuburná and Chicxulub or special trips to Isla Alacranes (3 nights/3 days).
Can you fish during the trip?
No, if you'd like to go fishing, we offer a ceviche fishing tour for an additional fee.
What does the boat rental include?
Includes: Captain and a crew member (waiter service), fuel, life jackets, an inflatable mat, a cooler, and a Bluetooth sound system.
Our premium service is personalized and includes food, drinks, and a video of the experience.
What should I bring?
Everything you’ll need: food and drinks, an outfit for photos, a swimsuit, a towel, biodegradable sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses. Tip: If you’re prone to motion sickness, avoid heavy meals and consult your doctor about preventive medication.
Is it allowed to drink alcohol or bring food?
Yes, please drink in moderation and responsibly. For safety reasons, glass containers are not allowed, so your drinks must be in cans or served in cups.
Can I rent a yacht or sailboat without a captain?
No. You can operate the boat if you wish, but the captain will always be on board to ensure safety.
Is there a passenger limit?
Yes, each boat has a maximum capacity, so be sure to choose a boat that suits the size of your group.
Can I bring pets?
Please inquire about pet-friendly boats before booking. Most have a soft floor (Foamdek). If the pet causes damage, the customer is responsible for paying for repairs or replacement.
What rules should I follow on board?
For safety reasons: Do not enter the changing room area while wet; do not bring glass objects; do not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs; and do not consume illegal substances.
To protect the boat: Please do not smoke inside or wear shoes on board.
Can the walk be canceled?
Yes. The captain may cancel the tour if there is a safety risk or a violation of the rules; in that case, no refund will be issued.
Do we lose cell service while browsing?
No. There's cell service along the entire route, since we're sailing along the coast and you'll always have land in sight!
How do I challenge a yacht?
Contact us via WhatsApp. Your reservation is confirmed only upon receipt of the deposit (we do not “hold” boats based on verbal agreements). The balance must be paid in full before departure.
Can I change boats after booking?
Once the deposit has been paid, it will NOT be possible to change boats.
What happens if I want to cancel or change my date?
You can change the date at no charge by giving at least 7 days' notice (subject to availability). In the event of cancellation, the deposit is non-refundable.

Of course! We organize birthdays, engagement parties, romantic dinners, bachelorette parties, anniversaries, team-building events, and even ash scattering ceremonies. We personalize every detail. If your event isn't on the list, contact us and we'll create something new.
What additional services do you offer for events?
Our services are tailored to your needs and include: decorations, onboard catering, a photographer, a DJ, or guided meditation (depending on the type of boat and the occasion). Remember that you’re also free to arrange these services through other providers; we’ll be there to help ensure everything goes exactly as you envision it.
How far in advance should you plan an event?
To ensure the boat is available and that any additional services (such as decorations or a menu) can be arranged, it’s best to book at least one month in advance. If you don’t need that much planning, 15 days should be sufficient.
Do you have options for large groups?
Yes. Our catamaran is the perfect choice, with room for groups of up to 40 people.
Can we hire a DJ or live music?
Yes, our Fiesta Catamaran is equipped with the necessary power outlets and has plenty of space.
